Couples Therapy

Love more, argue less

Currently not accepting new couples clients

Are pains from the past still getting in the way of loving each other?

Have you had the same argument over-and-over, and still fail to figure it out?

Do you feel more like friends or roommates rather than lovers?

Does your relationship feel more like a relationsh*t?

You deserve a relationship filled with love, respect, fun and passion!

It’s difficult when our heads are at-odds with our hearts

— logic says one thing, but our emotions say another.

I imagine that while some days are okay, other days feel hopeless.

You aren’t as happy as you used to be — or could be.

You might catch yourself thinking:

"I'm so unhappy, but we have so much history..."

"Maybe this is as good as it gets..."

“I repeat myself over and over, and they just don’t get it — or don’t care.”

“If I’m honest, they’ll get so upset with me…”

"Should I stay, or should I go?"

You might notice yourself feeling:

Frustrated with your partner for not changing; frustrated with yourself for letting things continue.

Confused whether it’s worth the effort.

Disconnected from your partner as a lover, or disconnected from yourself as a person.

Betrayed by someone you gave your heart, body, and time to.

Scared that things will never change.

Trapped in a situation that wasn’t what you signed up for.

You might find yourself:

Turning away from each other, rather than towards each other.

Looking for a way out, or a way through.

Feeling lonely instead of loved.

Grieving the loss of the relationship you thought you'd have.

You aren’t sure how you got here, and you aren’t sure how to make it better.

Chances are, things won’t get better on their own.

Things could get worse.

But with the right help, they could start getting better!

I help by teaching couples how to:

  • Get to the root of their conflict.

  • Navigate tough conversations.

  • Engage and reconnect with each other — mentally, emotionally, and physically.

  • Develop healthier patterns of interaction.

  • Rebuild friendship and reignite passion.

  • And, if need be, have a healthy “goodbye”.

You’re in the right place!

We know how hard it is to be in a relationship that isn’t fulfilling and you wonder whether it’s worth the effort.

We believe that relationships are the most valuable part of life — as well as the most complicated!

We have dedicated our lives to helping people love each other again.

We know how to heal old wounds, fix current problems, and reignite passion!

We also know how hard it is to reach out for help.

Especially when you’re used to doing things on your own

— and you’re terrified at the thought of losing both a lover and a friend.

Cultivating loving relationships that nourish you may not be easy, but it can be simple.

At Roots Relational Therapy, we walk with you through the uncertainty and discomfort of branching out in ways you’ve never done before.

You’re not dealing with this alone anymore.

We are in this together!

Let’s plant some new seeds!
